Michael Hirsch – Associate


Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael moved to College Park, Maryland to attend the University of Maryland, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2007. Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor on the CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Technology Policy (since renamed to the Catholic University Journal of Law and Technology), and as a member of the Honor Board.

Michael is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Montgomery County.

Michael’s estate planning experience includes the implementation of estate planning techniques to protect personal and business assets, while minimizing wealth transfer taxes. Michael has assisted in estate and tax planning, and related issues surrounding the gift tax, estate tax, generation-skipping transfer tax, and inheritance tax. Michael has designed and drafted revocable trusts, wills, advanced healthcare directives, and durable powers of attorney.

Michael lives in Washington D.C., and enjoys golfing, bicycling and playing tennis.
